About 48° North

Started in March of 2014, 48° North is a for-profit, independent Professional Limited Liability Company, registered in the State of Washington, owned and operated by Erik B. Gahringer, PLS, Wenatchee, WA. 48° North is experienced in providing professional land/water survey, mapping and geodetic consulting services to: private landowners, developers, business professionals, corporations, city, county, state and federal Clients. We are responsible for maintaining the integrity of: the private land title and boundary survey system; the Public Land Survey System (PLSS); deformation monitoring systems; the requirements of: topographic, photogrametric and bathymetric mapping. We ensure the integrity of these systems and requirements under professional licensure by the State of Washington and, as important, by direct experience performing within the profession in many parts of North Central Washington. As of June 2014 we have attained 33 years of experience ranging from field and office technicians to total project management and administration of thousands of boundary, monitoring and mapping surveys. Our experience over the years has extended beyond North Central Washington and has included work in parts of Western and Eastern Washington.
